Mataró has once again hosted a new edition of the Information and Career Guidance Week (SIOP), whose main goal is to showcase the educational opportunities available in the city and the surrounding region.

One of the most significant activities of the event was the series of debates on employment, in which companies from various sectors participated to help young people understand current labor market demands.

The Reimagine Textile program, which promotes innovation in the textile sector among companies in the Maresme region, was invited to take part in the debate panel “Take Charge of Your Future,” organized by the Mataró City Council and also featuring Urgeles Diamant and the SL Construction Labor Foundation.

The session showcased various technical textiles, including fabrics for composites, thermochromic and photochromic textiles, as well as fabrics with integrated LEDs and photoluminescent embroidery, as an example of the current state of innovation in the sector.
