Eurecat’s Textile Materials Analysis and Characterization Laboratory in Canet de Mar specializes in the identification of textile materials and their characterization from a physical, chemical, and functional perspective.
CRTTT
It offers services in:
Testing based on textile standards: Mechanical properties of textile products, yarn and filament parameters, chemical composition, and characteristic analysis.
Custom studies tailored to the client with non-standard testing methodologies.
Additionally, it also enables the following tests:
Tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and pilling resistance tests.
Elasticity tests.
Stiffness and drape tests.
Yarn parameter determinations: count, twist, and physical analysis of filaments (optical photomicrography).
Fabric parameter determinations: thickness, weight (GSM), densities, and structures.
