Masterclass at the Research and Technology Transfer Center in Canet de Mar.
The entrepreneurs of Reimagine Textile took part in a masterclass at the Research and Technology Transfer Center in Canet de Mar on smart textiles, 3D embroidery, and textile innovation, led by experts from Eurecat.
Specifically, the session was led by:
Miquel Soler,textile engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC, Barcelona) and specialist in fabric and textile manufacturing. He is the Director of CRTTT – Escola de Teixits and coordinates technical and smart textile projects in collaboration with Eurecat.
Jordi Vilà, specialist in garment manufacturing technology, is a researcher and project manager at Eurecat. For 25 years, he has worked for various clothing companies as a production manager, including Montoto, Grutex, and Vistfunk. He has also run his own company, Cavipunt.
Rosa Rodríguez, holds a degree in Arts from the University of Southampton, where she studied fashion design. She currently leads e-textile development activities at the Functional Fabrics Unit at Eurecat.
The masterclass was delivered in three intensive sessions on smart textiles, 3D embroidery, and textile innovation, providing participants with ideas and solutions applicable to their own innovative projects.
This session is part of the high-performance entrepreneurship program aimed at the textile sector.
