Virginia Garcia, Director of the Functional Fabrics Unit at Eurecat, showcased some of the main collaborations being established to attract entrepreneurs and young talent to the region’s textile sector, which is undergoing a transformation thanks to the new functionalities provided by emerging technologies.

The two co-creation spaces promoted by the program were also presented, such as the Reimagine Textile Prop space near Canet de Mar and the Reimagine Textile Design&Tech in Mataró, as well as the guidance and technological assessment services.

The Department of Industrial Technology of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan promotes this event, which features the participation of key legally recognized research institutions to showcase major technological advances in the textile industry. The event hosted numerous forums and invited national and international entrepreneurs, experts, and scholars to deliver lectures on shared concerns such as technology, inspection, and marketing management, in anticipation of similar activities that promote innovation and sustainability in the domestic textile industry.
