The course focuses on textile technology, <strong>digital manufacturing<\/strong>, and <strong>biology<\/strong>, and is part of the Reimagine Textile network, aiming to foster <strong>innovation in the textile industry<\/strong> in collaboration with Eurecat Academy.<\/p><p>Specifically, Fabricademy is a professional interdisciplinary course aimed at companies seeking to innovate and apply new sustainability tools. It focuses on new technologies applied to textiles, covering everything from the fashion industry to the emerging <strong>wearables <\/strong>market.<\/p><p>The six-month educational program is carried out in selected labs around the world, and in Catalonia it takes place across the facilities of IAAC Fab Lab Barcelona and Eurecat.<\/p><p>The new materials, production processes and channels, the proliferation of data, devices and sensors, and hyperconnectivity are triggering a new textile revolution,\u201d to which Reimagine Textile aims to be \u201ca key player, bringing together textiles, technology, innovation, talent, new business models, new skills, design, and digitalization,\u201d highlights Virginia Garc\u00eda, Director of the Functional Fabrics Unit at Eurecat.<\/p><p>Driven by Eurecat, TecnoCampus Matar\u00f3, and the city councils of Matar\u00f3 and Calella, Reimagine Textile is the collaborative network that connects key players in the textile sector to reimagine it through 21st-century applications.<\/p><p><strong>Enrollment for the course is now open.
