3rd edition of the high-performance program and support for entrepreneurs Reimagine Textile.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

TecnoCampus, the Matar\u00f3 City Council, in collaboration with the Eurecat technology center, has opened the application period for the third edition of the high-performance program and entrepreneurial support, Reimagine Textile<\/strong>. This initiative, funded by the European Union, is part of the strategic project of the same name, which, through various initiatives, supports the textile industry through knowledge transfer, technology, and innovation. <\/p>

The program<\/a> is aimed at entrepreneurs with a business idea in the textile-fashion sector, open to incorporating an innovation and\/or technological component as a competitive advantage. This component can involve a new functionality in the product, a smart fabric, textile technology, a sustainable solution, an innovative model for customer relations, ICT alternatives in distribution, and more. <\/p>

This initiative is part of the strategic commitment made by the Matar\u00f3 City Council for the transformation and modernization of the textile industry in the Maresme region, where a large part of the Catalan textile ecosystem is concentrated. The Eurecat technology center and the Canet de Mar Textile School will contribute their expertise in innovation and technology applied to products, while TecnoCampus will share its knowledge in business and entrepreneurship. <\/p>

The program consists of two phases: the first phase will include fifteen participants, who will progressively experience how their business idea transforms into a clear value proposition. It includes sessions that combine workshops led by specialized mentors, testimonials from successful entrepreneurs in the sector, technological guidance, and personalized mentoring with business experts. In the second phase, five finalist projects will be selected and will receive personalized support for the launch of their product to the market, along with a roadmap for securing funding. <\/p>

Applications can be submitted until February 14.<\/strong> The program will run from March to July and from September to December. Participants will have access to a shared workspace at the TecnoCampus facilities to work on their project, as well as a FabLab for prototyping and experimentation, with specialists available to provide guidance and support. They will also become part of the Reimagine Textile ecosystem, where entrepreneurs, investors, startups, and the business world are connected. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Five finalists in the 2019 edition<\/h2>

Five companies, selected from the initial 15 participants, were chosen to complete the 2019 edition of the program: Killing Weekend, Port\u00f3loalto, T\u00e8xtil-T\u00e0ctil, p.b. Almond, and Evoke.<\/p>

  • Killing Weekend is an independent fashion brand with ethical and sustainable design. The garments incorporate a QR code that provides product traceability for a conscious purchase. <\/li>
  • Port\u00f3loalto is an online bridal wear brand for empowered women seeking a different experience through personalized service linked to 3D technology.<\/li>
  • T\u00e8xtil-T\u00e0ctil offers acoustic absorption solutions through artistic panels for interior design projects where an exclusive and avant-garde design is sought.<\/li>
  • p.b. Almond is a vegan, sophisticated, and functional fashion brand that uses sustainable and innovative fabrics such as Pi\u00f1atex, hemp, Tencel, and bamboo, catering to a very demanding and critical target audience.<\/li>
